Questions Answers
How long can you play for? Either two sets of 60 mins or three sets of 40 mins (+ encores).
   
How much do you charge? It depends on the event and how far we have to travel - every event is different so we charge accordingly to suit. We will give you a firm quote with no hidden extras at the time of your enquiry. Remember the golden rule - you get what you pay for!
   
Can you do special requests? Yes - but please let us know in plenty of time to allow us to learn the song properly. If anyone has a special request on the night, please ask us - if we can play it, we will willingly.
   
What type of events can you play at? Anything you can name...
   
Will you be smart? We always dress according to the occasion. Weddings are typically evening dresses and suits and parties would be smart casual.
   
Are you too loud? No - we adjust the sound levels to suit the venue and the audience. Please bear in mind that a live band will not be as quiet as listening to the radio at home! If you have any concerns, please speak to the bandleader.
   
Is a live band better than a disco? We think so! A live band can read the audience and react with changes in pace and feeling instantly and is usually better suited to a wider audience age range. A common complaint of discos is that they play for the younger element in the audience and are way too loud!
   
Do we need to feed you? This is at the discretion of the client. All we ask is that you let us know so that we can make suitable arrangements. After all, a fed and watered band is a very happy band! We never drink alcohol while we're performing by the way.
   
Will we need to provide you with anything else? You will need to remind your venue organiser of the need to provide a secure room at the disposal of the band to change and leave personal belongings.
   
Can you provide music during your breaks? Yes - we have a CD and MP3 player built into our PA system.
   
How much space do you need? Ideally 3m x 4m - but we've been known to squeeze into much tighter spaces!
   
How long does it take you to set up? About 2 hours depending on the ease of access - that's to allow a decent sound check as well as humping all the gear into the venue.
   
How long does it take you to pack down? About 60 minutes
   
Can you set up before the event? Unfortunately we cannot set up the night before or the morning of an evening event. Ideally we like to co-ordinate with the event organiser and find a slot or time window 2 - 3 hours before we are due to start playing.
   
Are you insured? Yes - public liability insurance for £2m per venue.
   
Is your equipment PAT tested? Yes - to meet the requirements of any venue.
